The big war has to stay forever in our memories.

At walking distance from B&B Laurus, you have ‘de Hooge Crater’, a war museum next to the ‘Hooge Crater cemetery’. Hill 60 and hill 62 are only a few kilometers away.

Zonnebeke with the famous “Tyne Cot Cemetery” and “de Polygone” are situated within a range of 3 - 10 kilometers.

You can find information about the commemoration of the big war and the guided tours which are organized in the brochures at B&B Laurus or at the Ypres tourism department.

 We strongly recommend the Last Post, which is performed every day around 8.00 pm at The Menin Gate. It’s worth your visit!
